Get this LION Roooaaaarrring!
We are a Dutch / Belgium Rockband and we play rock music with a high 80ties content. Completed with catchy riffs and crazy guitar solos, powerful melodic vocals with catchy sing-along choruses supplemented with pounding drums and a solid bass.
We are raised and influenced by bands like Eddie VanHalen, Ritchie Kotzen, Lita Ford, Mr Big, Lynch Mob, Vixen, Tyketto, White Lion, Heart, Extreme... And nowadays inspired by some more contemporary bands like Halestorm, Alter Bridge, Extreme,Dizzy Miss Lizzy, Maneskin, Mammoth, Orianthi, Linkin Park and many more.
We consist of Belgian and Dutch band members who have been known in the rock scene for many years. Due to the common love for the genre, LIONESZ arose by itself in the summer of 2021. After a few changes we found the perfect combination of musicians as it is today:
Peter Swysen: guitars/songwriter
Debby Thebrath: singer/songwriter
Franck Faber: bass/backing vocals
Mathias Hoornaert: drums
Bas Welling: guitars/backing vocals
LIONESZ will play live from NOVEMBER 2023. With a full length album filled with self-written songs, to fill an hour long set, they are ready to be introduced to the rest of the world.
